Alexandre Landry


Alexandre Landry was trained as an architect in Montreal and Newbern, Alabama. His multifaceted practice has involved public art, interactive installations, sculpture, illustration, architectural research and several design-build projects. Over the course of the last six years he acted as lead design architect for architecture firm A49montreal and gave direction to the firm’s most recent award-winning projects. He has recently founded his own studio which currently focuses on public interest projects with a positive environmental and social impact.

Rural Studio Alumni Jeremy Aranoff & Alexandre Landry will present an overview of two 20K House prototypes, tell their story of time spent in rural Alabama and how it has influenced their architectural practice to this day.
