Charlotte Potter Kasic
Charlotte, Yestermorrow’s Executive Director, is a conceptual artist and designer who has shaped her profession around her curiosity, passion and enthusiasm about glass. In this age of over-connectivity, Charlotte’s studio practice seeks to visualize relationships and build community, often employing a combination of new and old technology. She received her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA from Alfred University. An avid educator, Charlotte has taught glass, performance and new media courses at Universities and summer programs such as Penland School of Crafts and Oxbow School of Art. Another facet to Potter’s practice is to bring contemporary art into the public, and create opportunities for viewing art in the collective space. She has served on the Glass Art Society Board, and was the founding Programming Director at the Chrysler Museum Glass Studio. She is passionate about supporting and guiding immersive and pioneering educational spaces and allowing space for makers and dreamers to experiment and create. Charlotte lives and works in the wilds of Vermont as a mother, maker and seeker.
