High Performance Ventilation for Tiny Homes
3:00 Design/Build Stage
As more and more tiny homes are built airtight to meet low energy and high comfort goals, centralized heat recovery ventilation systems are not ideal given the high space requirements for equipment and ductwork. With a decentralized system like the Lunos e2 HRV, units are mounted within the exterior wall assemblies – giving tiny house owners new options for achieving high performance ventilation. This presentation examines the component options and design parameters for such a system to help ensure that the inside of your tiny house has the highest indoor air quality.
