Jen Hollar is the Director of Policy and Special Projects for the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board. VHCB provides state and federal funding for affordable housing and land conservation and well as working on related policy initiatives. Jen’sexperience includes service at the local, state and federal levels - most recently as Deputy Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development where she acted as the state's housing commissioner. Boards on which Jen has served include Vermont’s Clean Energy Development Fund, the Vermont Housing Finance Agency, Hunger-Free Vermont, Downstreet Housing and Community Development and the Montpelier Housing Authority. Jen and her husband, John, have three sons and live in Montpelier, Vermont. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury College and an M.P.A. in State and Local Government from George Washington University.
